Easy Dutch Apple Pie

Easy Dutch Apple Pie
1 9" deep dish pie crust
1 can apple pie filling
3 apples, peeled, cored, & sliced 1/2 inch
1/2 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
Opt. Caramel topping

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour apple pie filling into pie shell; add apples also. Pour cake mix on top of the apples and bake for 45-50 minutes until cake mix is brown and crisp.
Drizzle caramel topping on top when it cools. This easy pie tastes even more delious with ice cream!
