Corn Dog Casserole

This was another easy recipe and it took maybe 10 minutes to prepare.
There is nothing better than fast, easy and yummy!

Served on the fine China!

Corn Dog Casserole
1 tablespoon butter
2 boxes (8.5 oz each) corn muffin mix
2 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
6 to 8 hotdogs
1 tablespoon sugar
4 to 5 slices american cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a bowl mix muffin mixes, eggs, sugar and milk until well combined.
Melt the butter and grease the casserole dish. 
Put 1/3 of the batter in the bottom of the casserole whole hotdogs in rows 
about 3/4 inch apart.  Go down sides and if you need to cut the hotdogs to fit. 
Now cover with Cheese and then the rest of the batter. 
Bake 30 to 35 minutes until top has browned well and when you put a toothpick 
in the center it comes out clean. Let it cool 5 minutes before cutting. Serve with ketchup 
and the kids will love you! 
(I also served loaded potato chips with this and the recipe is in the book too)
