Where Would You Love to Cook Today?

Look how sweet this kitchen is ...
I love this Blog.

You have got to stop and see the transformation of this kitchen
and house. Courtney and her husband have worked very hard
to redo this house and they have done an amazing job.

This link takes you to the part of her blog where you can see
the kitchen redo... SO much work...
but with their talents if is so beautiful.
You have to take a look at the bedroom...
to die for!!!
Oh grab a chair you will be there for a while ...
I am thinking you will be way to busy looking around at her blog
there will be no time to cook.
so lets make:

Honey Lavender Lemonade (makes a full pitcher)
2 cups of lemon juice (roughly 12 lemons)
4 cups of cold water
honey-lavender simple syrup (see recipe below)
sprig of lavender
slice of lemon
Honey-Lavender Simple Syrup
 1 ½ cups of honey
1 cup of water
2 Tbsp. of lavender buds
Combine the honey, water and lavender in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring well.  Make sure the honey is dissolved, and then reduce the heat to a simmer for 1-2 minutes.  Remove from heat and let syrup steep and cool for about 10 minutes.  Strain and discard the lavender.  Pour the lemon juice, water and simple syrup into a large pitcher and stir.  Garnish with a sprig of lavender and/or a lemon slice.

  1. Oh, my goodness! My summertime temp is going down just looking at your delicious Lemon/Lavender Cooler! It looks so refreshing in your old fashioned canning jar!
There is a lavender farm about 15 minutes from where I live. Seeing your recipes...gives me just what I needed to hop in the car and make the trip.
Thank you for your sincere comment on my blog. I love your apron blog...It's right up my alley!
Have a wonderful remainder of the week, my sweet friend!
